There’s something about the stocking you grow up with. It was always exciting for me to see it on the mantle year after year. John and I still have our stockings from when we were babies. We argue every year whose is better ;) It makes us laugh, but just reminds me how much fun a stocking is and what great memories you have with it.
Last year, we got Ivy this stocking (style is updated from last year, but similar), and my Mom had bought another stocking at Pottery Barn’s winter clearance, so now we’re using this one (again, similar style) for Leo. I felt bad using one we just happened to have (sorry Leo!!! #secondkidproblems) but it’s boy enough and we had it, so oh well! I got his personalized at Stitch it Up’s kiosk in the mall, so now he’s all set!
And now for some ideas on what to stuff them with! I loved this as a kid! It was the one last fun gift we got to open, the stocking. So here are some ideas for the whole family. Merry Christmas!
Women — clutch // lip pencil // hair ties // earrings
Men — water bottle // tie // cologne
Girl — make a tiara // frozen dolls // hair bow
Baby boy — booties // baby food // toy car
Great ideas!! And my husband and I have the same argument about our stockings ;)
Haha! The argument is real! Our own stockings are so cherished of course our own is the best ☺️
