Thanksgiving for the Little Turkeys

November 10, 2015

I love all of the reds, yellows, and greens at this time of year. The warm colors make me all warm and cozy! Fall gently eases us into the dismal (and far too long) winter season with its beautiful ombre foliage, joyous harvest celebrations, and crisp hoodie weather (I want this soft hoodie in every color!).  What’s your favorite Thanksgiving tradition? This poll says that most people prefer watching football. And I don’t blame them. I am like WORTHLESS after a stuffed belly from overdosing on turkey and gravy!

Well, with Thanksgiving right around the corner, I’ve put together some of my favorite KIDS THANKSGIVING items around the net! That plaid dress… OMG.

Thanks

sweater // yellow cords // plaid dress // bow // napkins // critter plates // personalized turkey plate // cup // curious george // pete the cat // turkey trouble // i love to gobble you up //

I love the turkey table settings from Crate and Barrel, what a fun way to set up a kids table! And look at these Pilgrim hat crayon cups you could make for the table. So fun!

I love to teach Ivy about holidays and celebrations through books and those four books look like a lot of fun to read! We have the Pete the Cat Thanksgiving book and she loves to flip the flaps up to see what Thanksgiving thing is under it. She’s learning all about pilgrims and most of all the FOOD :) Haha! And here are 75+ Thanksgiving activities too.

I can’t WAIT for that meal! One of my favorite chefs to follow is the Pioneer Woman and here is a page with all of her favorite Thanksgiving side dishes… YUM. I think the brussel sprouts with balsamic and cranberries looks delicious! And if you need help all around – I like this guide to the Thanksgiving meal from Saveur.

And now my mouth is salivating : /

Happy almost Thanksgiving!!
