I LOVE HALLOWEEN. I love everything spooky about it! The scary decorations, spooky sounds, thriller movies, dark nights, everything. Oh, and candy. Obvs.
Last year, Ivy was barely one month old so we didn’t bother, but this year, I was so excited to dress her up in a costume and go trick-or-treating (channeling my inner child, which wasn’t that hard)!
About a month ago, John came home from Costco with a chicken costume. Yes, a chicken. I COULD HAVE DIED. You did WHAT?! A CHICKEN? Halloween is sacred to me and I was so excited to come up with something original and cute, soooo, a chicken, was not exactly what I had in mind. I let it sit out for a few days, snarling at it each time I walked by, and then, I just decided, well, I’ll let John have this one, her FIRST Halloween costume. (Sigh).
It ended up being really cute and hysterically funny! She was so adorable in it and it was a hit! The belly on the chicken and the tail just made me laugh as she waddled around. I loved it. Even if I didn’t want to admit it to John :)
Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween! I loved seeing pics of all your babies in costumes!
Love,
John, Kaylee, & baby chicken Ivy
